September 2022:   Letter from Active Chapter:

Dear Lambda Alum,

My name is Jacob Ferbrache and I am the current VP of Finance for LMU’s Alpha Delta Gamma Fraternity chapter. I pledged in the Spring of 2020, and unfortunately lost some of my time in ADG to Covid-19. Still, I have been able to make fantastic bonds and lifelong friendships, as upon our return, we decided that we would make the most of the years we had remaining. I am now going into my senior year, and am ready to make this year incredible for ADG at LMU, and set the expectations for the frat to continue successfully long into the future.

I am happy to report to you that the revitalization of ADG’s chapter here on LMU’s campus has exceeded expectations of both the university and alumni such as yourself. Since Fall of 2019, membership has grown from just 5 actives to 36 current actives and growing. Our chapter GPA has steadily risen and now ranks 2nd among LMU’s 8 social fraternities. Nationally speaking, we are the 2nd largest in terms of active membership out of our 9 other chapters. Needless to say, Lambda chapter is well positioned for years to come.

Despite the challenges we faced as a chapter during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to steadily improve. I’m proud to say we have set up the future of lambda with great resources, including multiple spreadsheets and databases of fraternity information, new member development plans, and statistics. At this point, some of our plans for this semester and the future are:

• More ADG Merchandise (Hoodies for the new classes, shirts for Rush Events)
• New Member Development (building projects together for future ADG houses, going to San Diego/LA together to complete challenges / bond, have a pledge father/son pairing to build connections along the process)
• Philanthropic/Social events to continue on the great path set last year, where we held one of the largest events on campus.
• Further connection with sororities and on campus orgs, which we are currently very involved with.
• Winning Greek Week football, the tournament held on  campus against other fraternities, which we have a wonderful team for.
• Below is some of our current merchandise, which is worn often by our members. 

We thank you for your continued support of the chapter and look forward to connecting with you in the coming months. We have been informed of, and plan on attending the golf event which is slated for October. We cannot wait to meet everyone and show you what we are all about. We are doing our best as a chapter to connect with/invite to events any alumni who would like to be involved! Last year we held multiple events with  alumni, and it’s a blast every time.
