Mission Statement

ADG Lambda Alumni are also known as the Far West Alumni Association (FWAA).  The FWAA exists to support ADG Lambda Actives with guidance, networking and resources.   FWAA is led by the Advisory Board which operates in accordance with the set of approved Governance Document, last revised March 4, 2018.  

The Advisory Board joins alumni in a lifelong commitment to, and community with each other, the active ADG chapter and LMU. Through the Board, alumni help ensure the continued excellence of ADG and are challenged to further the ADG-LMU journey in their social, spiritual, professional and intellectual experiences.
The mission and purpose of the Board is to support the continued successful operation of Lambda Chapter of Alpha Delta Gamma National Fraternity at Loyola Marymount University; to promote the welfare of the chapter’s active membership; and to provide an organized framework for chapter alumni to come together in support of these objectives. At the same time, and in a broader context, the Board’s activities are also intended to support the continued growth and success of Loyola Marymount University as the West’s premiere institution of Catholic higher education.
The Board achieves these objectives by:

• Promoting communication and interaction between chapter alumni of all eras, through scheduled events as well as ongoing outreach efforts;
• Seeking out opportunities to bring chapter alumni together in social and other settings for the purpose of achieving the association’s stated objectives, as well as to maintain contact between alumni from different eras and contact between alumni and the active chapter;
• Providing ongoing counsel and guidance to the active chapter in an effort to promote the chapter’s continued growth and successful operation;
• Creating and implementing programs and events whose goal is to raise funds for scholarships to be awarded to current active members and/or the direct relatives of alumni members currently enrolled at LMU;
• Creating and implementing ongoing programs and events whose goal is to raise funds for designated purposes in support of Loyola Marymount University.
